OUR STORY
Everything I know about business started with a guy behind a butcher counter.
His name was Joe. Everyone called him Papa Joe.
He came to New York from Sicily as a teenager, learned a trade and eventually built a butcher shop in Queens that supported his family and passed that craft to generations after him.
He had a way of reducing complex problems to the essentials: learn your craft, work hard, take care of people and when there's a problem, handle it.
Some of those lessons still live behind butcher counters in Queens today. Others made their way into boardrooms.
Different counter. Same philosophy.
